I am a third-generation farmer and rancher from Tulare County, California, raising citrus and
cattle alongside my family. I manage Citrus Cattle Co., where we direct-market our “Citrus-
Fed Beef” and share the story of how fruit and forage cycles connect livestock and
orchards. In addition to ranching, I work with California Ag Solutions to help tree-crop
growers implement soil-health-minded nutrition programs and regenerative practices in their
orchards.
My journey into regenerative agriculture began through experimentation in my own citrus
blocks—planting multi-species cover crops, reducing synthetic inputs, and improving
irrigation efficiency to build healthier soils. These changes transformed how I view fertility,
water, and profitability. I now focus on helping other growers measure biological
improvement through soil and sap testing, cover crop integration, and carbon-based
nutrition programs that work in real-world orchard systems.
I’m passionate about practical, measurable approaches to regeneration—bridging
agronomic data with on-farm experience. My focus areas include cover crop design for
orchard systems, nutrient cycling, soil health testing, and farmer-to-farmer education. I
believe the most impactful change comes when growers see results in their own fields and
share that knowledge across the community.
